Vice President, Business Development

Richard Jordan, an industry innovator, brings a fresh perspective to iO Film. In his previous positions as Senior Vice President of Feature Post Production at Paramount Pictures and Executive Vice President of Physical Operations at Lions Gate Entertainment, Richard pushed to renovate post production work flows and explore the efficiencies of digital imaging. During his involvement with countless feature films and television projects over the past 20 years, Richard was often the first to successfully implement new procedures and protocols. As the Vice President of Business Development, Richard plans to make iO Film the industry's premier DI facility.


Chief Technology Officer

Kevin Mullican is a graduate of MIT in mechanical engineering and architecture. His entertainment industry career highlights include: designing and implementing large-scale digital image production systems for Pacific Data Images (later DreamWorks), Digital Domain, Rhythm & Hues, and VIFX (Fox); as well as co-founding Look Effects, a digital effects production company that has grown into one of the industry's leading effects boutiques. Particularly adept at the intricate workings of the industry's IT needs, Kevin built the first and only device ever for the automated conversion of disparate digital film images to a high-definition television stream. He also created the digital image-processing engine that forms the very foundation of iO Film. At iO, Kevin is the Chief Technology Officer responsible for all software and hardware design, development, and implementation. He is a published authority on digital image management.

Director of Sales

As Director of Sales at iO Film, Heather Valentine is responsible for packaging of feature post production services from dailies to delivery with a focus on marketing DI services to the independent film community. Heather came to iO Film from Post Logic Studios where she did marketing and sales for a variety of clients. A member of Women in Film, Heather is increasingly involved in the independent film community, regularly attending film festivals in support of The Post Group/iO clients. Originally from Ohio, Heather majored in Communications at Michigan's Wayne State University.


Digital Intermediate Colorist

Adam Hawkey began his career in post production in New York City as an assistant online editor/colorist at LRP Video. There he immersed himself in all aspects of post production work and distinguished himself early on as a creative mind that thinks and works outside the box. Among his many achievements, he created and ran the first virtual set television show "The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss" for Jim Henson Productions/Nickelodeon. Since relocating to Los Angeles, Adam's talents have been contracted by Rhythm & Hues, Amalgamated Pixels and Catalyst FX, with notable projects including "You've Got Mail," "Red Planet," "Little Nicky," and "Mulholland Drive." Since 2001, Adam has been with iO Film where he has been the colorist on dozens of independent and studio projects, including 2005 Best Picture winner "Crash."

Digital Intermediate Colorist

Keith Shaw has over 22 years of experience in the post production industry as a highly respected feature film colorist for such esteemed companies as Warner Bros., Paramount Studios, MGM and HBO Films. He has worked with some of the industry's most renowned directors such as Oliver Stone, Steven Soderbergh, Barry Levinson and Frank Darabont, as well as top cinematographers such as Owen Roizman, ASC, Dante Spinotti, ASC, John Toll, and John Seale, ASC.

Digital Intermediate Colorist

Transitioning from a background as a top telecine colorist, Michael Mintz has quickly adapted to the world of digital color grading. Through his technical knowledge and expertise, he is able to apply a wide variety of elements to the screen and can transform the client's vision into a reality. Mintz most recently completed the DI for "Resident Evil: Extinction."
